The past few years have been a very busy time for Mr. Frey with concert appearances in Europe, America, and Austral-Asia with symphonic orchestras, wind bands, brass bands, and as a solo recitalist. He has been Guest Soloist with the Cheju (South Korea), Fort Collins (USA), Vaasa (Finland), Atlanta Community (USA), LaGrange (USA), and the University of Georgia (USA) Symphony Orchestras. Brass Band concerts have mainly been concentrated in Europe with performances with the National Youth Brass Band of Switzerland (2002), Luzern Youth Brass Band (Switzerland), Soli Brass (Holland), Point of Ayr (1998 3rd Prize European Championships Wales), Brass Band of Battle Creek (USA), Willoughby City Band (Australia), Williams Fairey Band (UK), Fodens Courtois Band (UK), and Besses O the Barn (UK). Wind bands solo appearances have included the Guardians Band (Finland), Ilshin Girls High School Band (South Korea), Nashville Wind Ensemble (USA), Blue Lake Festival Band (USA), University of Georgia Wind Symphony (USA), and a number of high school and community bands across the US. Future engagements include performances with the Greensboro (USA) and Halle (Germany) Symphony Orchestras, and the University of Utah Wind Ensemble.
Adam has been a featured soloist in broadcasts on Swiss Cable Radio and BBC Radio 2 Young Artists Competition programs and the Listen to the Band series. He has also played on National Public Radio in the US and appears on six compact discs including "Brass in Britain," a recording of the Brass Band of Battle Creeks 10 day tour of the United Kingdom; and his first solo CD, "Listen to THIS!!" which showcases many of Adams premiere recordings and editions. As a clinician and lecturer, Adam has appeared at the RNCM Brass Day and the British Association of Symphonic Bands and Wind Ensembles (BASBWE) Conference. He has also presented a number of master classes and guest recitals at Universities and magnet arts schools across the United States and presented the first euphonium master class and guest recital at the Luzern Conservatorium in 1998. In 2000, he served as the Temporary Instructor of Euphonium and Tuba at the University of Georgia and performed with the Georgia Brass. Pianist Damon Denton is a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York City where he studied with the Russian pianist Oxana Yablonskaya. His solo awards include one of the top prizes at the "Fourth International Piano Competition" in Pretoria, South Africa. Recent CD releases include the Shostakovich Piano Concerto No. 1 with Fred Mills, former member of the Canadian Brass, and the ARCO Chamber Orchestra.
